Dr. McCann has written and co-produced several educational videos on sexuality and special education. Some have received national recognition by professional organizations.

Sex, Intimacy, and Cancer is a presentation about the impacts of cancer and related treatment on sexuality and intimacy, and ways to maintain and enhance intimacy and sexual activity while living with and being treated for cancer. Sponsored by the Ridley-Tree Cancer Center in 2021.

Sexuality and Aging is a workshop about physical, cognitive, and sex-related changes in older adulthood, and ways to support healthy sexuality among seniors. Presented to geriatric nursing students at Santa Barbara City College in 2017.
